If you're new to crypto, MetaMask is the easiest to set up. Download it from metamask.io

Step 2: Connect to the Right Network

Kubi currently operates on testnet networks:

FAQ

How long does a donation take to confirm?

Typically 5-30 seconds depending on network congestion. You'll see real-time progress in the donation form.

Why is my donation not showing on stream?

Possible reasons:

  • Donation amount is below the streamer's minimum threshold

  • The overlay isn't running on the streamer's OBS

  • Network delays (wait 1-2 minutes)

Can I cancel a donation?

No - blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. Only send donations you intend to make.

What happens if the streamer isn't live?

Your donation is still received! The streamer will see it in their dashboard, but the overlay alert won't show until they're streaming.

How do I change my supporter name or photo?

Simply visit any donation page while connected with your wallet. Your profile is editable from the donation form.

What tokens can I use to donate?

You can use any token the streamer has whitelisted. Common options include:

  • Stablecoins (USDC, USDT, IDRX)

  • Native tokens (ETH, MNT)

Your token will be auto-swapped to the streamer's preferred token if different.

Are there transaction fees?

Yes, you'll pay:

  • Gas fees - Small network transaction fee

  • Platform fee - A percentage goes to Kubi (varies by configuration)

Where can I view my donation history?

Currently, donation history is visible on each streamer's leaderboard. A dedicated supporter dashboard is coming soon!
